荒野を行く - Into the Wilds 今回の展示作品は、その多くが言葉になる前の感情や見えないものへの感応と共振によって 生まれています。 「荒野を行く」と題した作品の女性の背中には、目を凝らすと消え 耳を澄ますと聞こえなくなる音 亡くなった兄弟姉妹や、これから生まれてくるものたちが重なり、そしてまだ生きているであろう人たちを乗せたそりを曳いています。もしかしたら彼女自身 既にこの世のものではないのかもしれません。あまりにも簡単に滑り落ちてしまう「生」-曖昧な未来を宿しています。 目標やただ目的地に着くことのためにだけ急ぐことなく、一歩一歩一瞬一瞬の今を生きることの大切さを痛切に感じ 同時に楽しむことや楽しみのある世界、手ざわりが感じられて安心できるもの 不動のものに浸され「大地」とそこから与えられる豊かな繋がりを感じられる場があることは、生きていく上でとても大切なものだと感じています。 苦しみの報道が絶えない世界のなかで、絵が囁くものを感じていただけたら幸いです。 Into the Wilds The works featured in this exhibition are born from emotions that precede language?sensations and resonances with things. In the piece titled “Into the Wilds,” a woman moves through an indeterminate realm, her back bearing those who cannot be clearly seen visions that fade when stared at, sounds that disappear when strained to hear?lost siblings and the beings yet to be born. Behind her, she draws a sled carrying those who may still be alive. It’s possible she herself has already crossed into a realm beyond the visible world. Life?so easily slips away?harbors a future steeped in ambiguity. Rather than hurrying toward a goal or destination, I feel deeply the importance of living each moment, each step with intention. At the same time, I treasure the existence of a world filled with small pleasures, a sense of touch that calms, and something steadfast?something that allows one to immerse in the earth itself and feel the richness of its connections. These, I believe, are essential to life.
