息｜Iki 「息（Iki）」--呼吸は身体をほどき、自我と世界のあいだに常に開かれた縫い目を露わにする。生命は、呼吸が空気にそのリズムを記す場所に宿る。 呼吸の揺らぐ律動は、感情や思考と織り交ざりながら、空間や時間を縫い通し、私たちの生の輪郭を描き出す。運動の中の呼吸は、最後の静止した一瞬において、永続する真実となり、魂の楽器となる。一息ごとに吸い込むのは、単なる空気ではない。そこには、歴史、階層、気候、そして社会という不可視の建築が刻まれている。このヴィジュアル・エクスプロレーション（視覚的探究）は、呼吸を直感的かつ感覚的な身振りとして、また意味の運び手として捉えることを目的とし、アーティストたちが身体を通して応答する「時間の流れ」「記憶」、そして「内と外に満ちる見えないリズム」の在り方を映し出そうとするものである。 Breathing (息Iki, coming from Japanese) unseals the body, revealing the ever-open seam between self and world. Life settles where breath writes its rhythm upon the air. The shifting rhythms of breath trace the contours of how we live-interwoven with feeling and thoughts, weaving through space or time. The breath of motion, in the last frozen frame, becomes the final, enduring truth, and an instrument of soul. Each breath draws in more than air-it inhales histories, hierarchies, climates, etched by the invisible architecture of society. Between the possibilities of doing nothing and anything, to get to a form is the aim of his artistic practice. Songs, cinema, storytelling/time and writing are inspirational sources. As an interdisciplinary researcher and artist, Ren Ke focuses primarily on themes such as “language” and “mobility” in her work. She uses installations, performances, and interactive projects to confront fragmented identities, fading memories, and cultural dislocation caused by contemporary social mobility. Her works adopt open structures and participatory design as basic methodologies, inviting the audience to become co-creators who, through interaction, deconstruct established narratives and critically reexamine the entanglements between the individual and the collective, the local and the global. Transforming the exhibition space into a site of social experimentation, her participatory practices provoke profound reflections on the loss of belonging, cultural fragmentation, and fractured temporality that define contemporary existence. She graduated in 2025 from University of Art and Design, Geneva, Switzerland and her work has been exhibited in New York, Europe, and China. Her work aims to, moving beyond pretty surfaces, reach toward the raw, the sore, and the wordless truths woven into the human condition. Rooted in her upbringing in China, she also draws from traditional poetry and aesthetics, to engage deeply with these elusive, often ineffable themes. Yiyao graduated from the Graduate Institute (IHEID). Her inspiration also comes from diplomacy work’s quietly intimate and often overlooked emotional dimensions the rituals, the performances, and the sentimental undercurrents. From 2022 to 2024, Yiyao reported conflicts and crises in the Middle East as a journalist. Yiyao YANG 中国出身、スイス・ジュネーブ在住。彼女の作品は、美しい表層を超えて、人間の本質に織り込まれた生々しさや痛み、言葉にしがたい真実へと迫ろうとするものである。中国での幼少期の経験を基盤に、伝統詩や美学にも影響を受けながら、捉えがたく繊細な主題に深く向き合っている。国際・開発研究大学院（IHEID）を修了して、外交の仕事現場における儀礼や演出、そして見過ごされがちな感情の機微など、静かで親密な側面からも着想を得ている。2022年から2024年にかけては、中東地域の紛争と危機の報道にも携わった。  YANG Chen Born in Northwest China, YANG Chen is an interdisciplinary artist whose early training in state-sponsored dance programs laid the foundation for a body-centered artistic practice. Her work explores the dynamic interplay between body, medium, and space, using site-specific bodily interventions and symbolic objects to reconstruct mechanisms of perception and interrogate the fluidity and ruptures between personal experience and collective memory. She emphasizes strategies of improvisation and chance, activating the latent social dimensions within a site through unscripted bodily actions and spatial dialogues. In doing so, she reveals the complex tensions between power structures and corporeal politics. Her postgraduate and doctoral research focuses on bodily representation, memory construction, and processes of mediation within cross-cultural contexts. She is particularly engaged in comparative investigations of body-based performance practices in China and Japan in the post-Cold War era. With a background in Media Expression from a university in Kyoto, her practice seeks a balance between poetic perception and technical execution.Her solo backpacking journeys through major art capitals in Europe exposed her to experimental art collectives and site-specific practices, shaping her sensitivity to spatial storytelling and the emotional architecture of place.Characterized by stillness and quiet transitions, her works often reflect inner landscapes and emotional fluctuations through the flow of light and time, inviting viewers into moments of sensory introspection and immersive reflection. She has also exhibited works exploring topics of social issues at Dragon Burn, the Shanghai regional event of the American Burning Man festival. Faydee.M2 中国・上海生まれ、現在は東京を拠点に活動。 光や時間の儚いリズムに惹かれ、インスタレーションや映像を中心に、空間や感覚にまつわる表現を続けている。京都の大学でメディアアートを学び、哲学的な感性とテクニカルな手法を結び付ける実践を行っている。マルチメディアを用いた空間演出を通じて、微細な感情の揺らぎや身体感覚に訴える作品を展開する。バックパッカーとしてヨーロッパの主要なアート都市を巡ったソロトラベルの経験から、実験的なアートコレクティブやサイトスペシフィックなプロジェクトに深く関わるようになる。こうした経験は、空間的な物語性への感受性や、「場所」が持つ感情的構造への関心に大きな影響を与えている。静けさや内省、感覚的没入を促すインスタレーションを通じて、内なる風景を外在化し、感情を視覚的・時間的なかたちで可視化することを試みている。また、アメリカのBurning Manの上海エリアのイベントであるドラゴンバーンにて、社会的課題をテーマにした作品を展示した経験もあります。  |
